The adventure I go on every time I want to sell something
Me: Oh hey, Swipp's selling a skin for 75 butterflyfish! I should put a bunch of those on the AH!

I hate having to scroll through dozens, if not hundreds of tiny thumbnail images without any sort of search function just to sell something! Half the time, I can't find the tiny picture I'm looking for on the first or even the second scroll through and by that time, I've forgotten what color I'm even looking for, how many I'm selling, and for how much. I can't even imagine how much more frustrating it is for users with visual impairments like near-sightedness or color-blindness.
Selling something should take seconds, but thanks to this horrible UI, it often takes minutes. That doesn't sound like much, but if it takes me 2-4 minutes to sell a single item, what about if I want to sell 5 or 10 different items? It saddens me bc in most games I play, I really love buying-and-selling and generally taking part in the economy, but it's like pulling teeth on FR.
Does anyone have any tricks they use to make this process less rage-inducing? Do we know if staff has a fix in the works?

i was just raging about this today, the ui is an absolute mess for trying to sell anything. for somethng like food, there should be a way to sort by food type at the very least. similar thing with other categories - sorting materials by baldwin compotents, organic, and various other subcategories. i cant imagine this is a priority or will ever actually see any updating, but considering the recent quality of life revamps, perhaps itll happen one day.

The slightly less crazy method:
always list items that fetch value > abuse relist/ list again button daily.
Never look at the list items page again.
Maddess/Hard/Chaotic Mode:
list every item in the list. It's crazy, It's dumb, its stupid tedious. But I've done it. And it was worth it at least to find the suckers who do sell.
there are a surprising amount of items that have no actual use, are not rare by any means, and yet they fetch a decent price on ah. I don't understand why. But hey I like dragon pennies so.

@sueslayer I'd suggest possibly a more liberal use of your vault? You can't sell things in your vault so they don't show up in the scroll thing and getting to what you want to sell is faster. I vault anything I'm not actively going to sell or use (within the next few days) for later so my selling screen looks like this:

even though my actual food situation is this:

Much less frustrating without the extra items in the way, and I like having a less busy hoard page--it just looks neater and more organized, like I haven't been doing the dragon equivalent of shoving the mess in my room under my bed for the past four years [emoji=guardian laughing size=2]
I wouldn't say no to a sorting feature though!

We find out the item ID to get a rough idea of where it'd be then you can use the IDs of other items to find it more exactly.
We imagine it'll get updated eventually. Seems like it'll end up like the new dressing and familiar sections with different sorts and search options.

PlatinumDream Hmm! I am tempted to try that. Though, if you stick all your items in your vault and later decide that you want to sell/use them, don't you encounter a similar problem? By which I mean, you then have to flip through multiple pages of items in your vault to find the one you have to use/sell.

Lonin Whaaat, I didn't even know that items had ID numbers! That is a useful workaround, though I look forward to the day where selling an item won't require a game of higher-or-lower!

yeah, but I find flipping through pages in the vault is much easier and more controllable than trying to scroll through the selling items menu, because it has page divisions and larger item previews. It takes me a few minutes to look through my 50 pages of vaulted stuff to find a single thing, put it back in my hoard, then sell it, whereas if I always kept everything in my hoard it wouldn't be nearly as easy to access anything. Most things simply are not valuable enough to consider selling, so into the vault they go!
I view the vault like a storage system and the hoard like a loading bay. You wanna keep the loading bay organized and clear so that it's easier to move things around, yeah? It'll take a minute to find something in storage, yeah, but if you're putting it in storage in the first place, you know that you're not going to use it for an extended period of time. It'll be there if you need it, but it stays out of the way so that you don't trip on it when you're trying to get to other stuff.
That's my personal preference, though, and I'll admit that I'm not the most active seller, but it works just fine for me!
Also, things in the hoard/vault are automatically sorted by increasing item number ^-^

I don't list many auctions because I am unable to filter items. I hate it.

I hope one day we'll be able to search for items to list :D
