Flight Rising Discussion

Today is my first time using a Mire Flyer build, and is it normal to have to constantly restart? Like it's nice to train two fodder at once but I almost feel like it was easier and quicker using two of my team with one fodder.

It goes faster but it's not as brainless. I used to need a mage but after I figured out the speed and power of each enemy, I can train two at once on the rare occasion that I actually feel like training.

It's easier if you start with mages, though it may require a couple restarts for the first battle.

You'll get the rhythm pretty soon and it'll become second nature. You will need to restart occasionally, mostly because of an enemy dodging at the worst possible time and everything goes to heck after that, but for the most part it goes smoothly and is faster than training one at a time.

Every so often I'll get unlucky and have to restart, if my eliminate misses. Also, the groups with the three light tan unicorns (whose name escapes me at the moment) I normally just restart on if I get them as the first group, since the odds of one of them hitting my flier with contuse before my meditate debuff wears off are too high. It's something that you get used to.

I'm having to restart every 4-5 battles, I must be doing something wrong

Is Ruairi your Mire Flyer? If so his element is the problem. Wind is one of the worst elements to have in the Mire. He takes double damage from Water, Shadow and Light which is all of the Blackwing Croakers and Brilliant Psywurms. Those represent a significant number of the mage packs a flyer should use as their first battle so your poor boy is likely taking more damage too often.

He'll also never stand a chance against the Wartoad, either.

Ideal elements are Arcane/Earth.
