I noticed in last few days or so that the prices of a lot of stuff especially older fest items seems to have gone down noticeably. I'm certainly not complaining - the fact that sprites went down a good bit from where they were a couple weeks ago allowed me to be able to afford an ice sprite earlier than I'd hoped to scrape together funds. But I am curious...
Is it entirely because of the whole Dappervolk hype thing causing people to sell hoards to convert amd thus flooding the market with increased supply... or is there something else at play?

this, when i pop over to items for sale theres usually a few 2013/retired item (saw a fr kickstarter trading thread for DV yesterday) threads on the front page
[edit] if you need expensive stuff for projects/outfits, grab it now since my avatar dragon used to need a skeletal chime when they were 1kg but theyre 500g now

Yeah that must be it, I've seen a bunch of item for sale threads with old fest items, sprites, custom print umas, all kinds of good stuff. If you're interested you should get it now, because I think after the hype dies down some people are going to come back when they get bored of the game...

Keep in mind the gem ratio though! It's really really deceiving right now. 1:1200 means 500G = 600,000t Our brains aren't good at grasping this.
