I hate obsidians green undertones and find it difficult to work with hence why I prefer basic obs to any other genes.

Black has white undertones in most of the genes which is much easier and more visually appealing.

I do like obsidian A LOT, but black is my fav so I agree

I’ve never really noticed obsidian having green undertones tbh

I really like the green undertones personally (worked perfectly for a fandragon I have), but Black is also very good.

black is just better ok

Obsidian basic is much better than black basic, but in terms of genes, Black does do much better.
