Where the staff give the flights that got halos wreaths, and the flights that got wreaths halos? Or can they put them in jox box?
This is all I want.
Light, Lightning, and Arcane got halos. Ice and wind are pretty close as well. Everyone else got wreaths, and I'd love a year where they were swapped so we get full sets of both pretty light halos and physical wreaths. It's not fair some flights have one and not the other >.<
I mean a lot of the less popular "halos" are because they're actually wreaths. I'd love to have runic light halos for the other flights. And a physical wreath made of lightning bolts? Awesome. If they had just stuck to one or the other, I'd be fine, but the fact that the flights seem split and got one or the other just bugs me.

I would actually say that the reason some are halos and others are wreaths is because of the element. See, it would be kinda hard to turn nature or earth into a halo since flowers and rocks are physical things, right? Meanwhile, it's hard to portray wind and arcane as physical things.
But halo recolors? Now that's something I lowkey want

sig wip :)
Before they even think about recolors I want the flights to actually be balanced and have complete "sets."
It's easy enough to do rulic halos in the colors of each flight. That's all the actual halos are. They're along a similar vein as the emblems. Other flight apparel has also been able to manifest light, lightning and arcane in physical ways like actual lightning bolts, magic wisps and glowing effects. It's not impossible to imagine.

Please I would die for this.
Some of the wreaths make me want to die when I think of what a halo could have been.

And a physical wreath made of lightning bolts?

I like to think the Lightning wreath would be made of cogs and wires and other gear parts, sorta like how Shadow's Murkmirth Halo is made of thorny vines wrapped around a metal disc. (For some...reason. Is it suppose to represent a wrought-iron garden gate or something?)

Pinwheels are a major aesthetic element in Wind and @/catgame21234 made a (very long) post about the possible significance of the pinwheel in Wind's lore based on its meaning in Chinese culture.

Or we could go with a compass inspired wreath since compasses are one of the favoured treasures of Wind dragons.
As for Arcane, I'd be down with an astrolabe inspired wreath.
Point is, it's totally possible to get creative with wreath designs even for the "less physical" flight elements, and I'd be down for @/vihuff's suggestion.

I'd be down with this. :) The flights that got really clunky "wreath" halos definitely got shafted, imo. Light got an apparel piece that look good on everything while every other flight's was situational at best. Plus if they made a Light wreath that looked like a golden laurel crown similar to the Autumnal Wreath, I'd kill for that tbqh.

Autumnal Wreath
Apparel
A wreath of crisp, yellowing leaves that sits atop the head. Crowns such as these are prized possessions as the branches they are made from come from trees that take hundreds of years to mature.
I doubt it would happen but I'd be all for it. Give me the red glowing plague halo,,, please

Today on Things I Didn't Know I Needed, FR Edition: THIS. It would of course be very niche, but then again, so is a lot of festival apparel. The Light Flight just gets lucky in how versatile their aesthetic is. But I can see a gear halo really working for steampunk and robot dragons.
