So with each Thundercrack update these past years I've noticed the difference of "tone" the color of the Lightning theme has, if you know what I mean.
It seems to me that at first it was more [color=teal]greenish[/color=teal] as you can see in the banner, the emblem apparel or the Flight's icon itself.
[emoji=lightning rune size=2] [item= Electricians Emblem] [emoji=lightning rune size=2]
While now the newer items happen to go more into [color=#2DD6D9]blue[/color=#2DD6D9].
Yes I know that's just nitpicking :'D but I personally prefer the greenish version.

They probably found the greener versions to be too close to Wind/Nature. Unfortunately now it's borderline Water/Ice x'D

That's a pretty tough question, I really like both of them! I think the blue works better for most things, though I hope the green-vibes come back. I like the options!

I prefer greenish turquoise. Now that people mentioned it the blue really makes me think water or ice more than lightning.

I prefer the more blue, due to being closer to Stormcatcher's color.
Though he does have a bit of greenish on him as well.

I prefer the blue- the green is nice but it's hard to match to other colors, and from personal experience, hard to add shadows and highlights to that don't shift the shade further into green or blue so I imagine keepingthe color range in the 'lightning green' range might be harder. But that could be my skills lacking lol. I'm also barely awake
