I'm trying to come up with a new subspecies to drive lore, and also to give myself more reason to exalt. My essential idea is that they are 'storytellers' and their offspring's name will tell a story one by one.
The thing I'm going back and forth on is whether I should keep the pairs or follow the same breeding strategy with their first lot of offspring.
If I keep with the pairs I've already got, then their parents names will be whatever random names their owners chose. but if I go with the first generation, the name plate will read as parents: Inthebeginning Therewaslight and the rest of the story will follow in the offspring. I don't know if I am making sense with this... but yeah, any advice appreciated! I was going to make the parents look a certain way, but it really doesn't matter when they're breeding fodder.
So I don't know if this pair, Fairy and Story should have offspring called 'once, upon, atime' or 'volumeone' 'volumetwo''volumethree'. Does that make sense?
