In the past 5+ years of existing here, it has only happened to me once that I was so desperate for a FR update that I felt like biting my toes off. This is the second time.
All of this background hype for a Map update and a Gem Ancient and PvP and a new modern species just got me so ecstatic, I am truly craving something new. Do I need more projects? No. Am I gonna get them? Absolutely. I'm stressed bc Windows is being a bum so I'm crouching here in the living room connected to the Ethernet, and I just really need something big and new. I just.....I just nEED IT. Do you have anything that keeps you sane in these harsh times? Do you have any of your own projects to keep you grounded? Is there anything specific you're also awaiting from the Staff? Any upcoming update that excites you? What are your predictions? Just talk to me so I can silence my mind a bit.

So I've heard about the map update and I really want that. Otherwise, I don't really know what I want from the devs though. I'm not exactly craving an update as I'm kinda clawing at a huge project and hoping for commissions right now (see: signature).

I'm excited for several things- the map update, the new modern breed, and the winners of the caption contest, for example. I remember them saying once that the map will have landmarks in each flight's territory, and you can click on those landmarks and get more info on them. And the new modern breed, will i like it? How badly will the site lag due to several thousand people online at once? Oh, I can't wait to see!

zaetehk I feel you, that Map update has been in the background for so long and none of us have any idea about where it is in development yet. I really hope it's approaching fast, I desperately need some new visuals I can stare at and some more lore I can write. I think the main reason why I'm like this is because I can't sit normally and I need a distraction. Good gods, Microsoft, why you gotta do me like this.
And wow, your project is truly formidable, good luck! That might take a very very long time, I know I've been trying to get a Shadow/Spring/Goldenrod Imperial for almost 3 years now. A similarly coloured G1 was originally just about to be turned into a G1 Imp but then complications happened so I ended up with a breeding project instead. hhhngh
Staff, I really hope you give us a subtle hint or a hidden message somewhere like you did with Baldwin and his spots or the Beastclan messages or the colour expansion. We need something to get hyped over and that would get my attention for a few days.

Heh yeah I'm thinking I might add something to my shop that's basically for people to chip into the project (by sending me dragons, imps with the color genes, and stuff like that) for artwork of their dragons or a gijinka

Ahhh you love to see it.
I will not mind a new modern however they look like. I just want to get more G1s because I am addicted at this point, and I cannot wait to see all the apparel freshly drawn on that new species. So good.

Oof. I’m in such a slump Idk what I’d want. Maybe just like. More ancient accents? Modern breed? Modern genes being allowed on ancients like mosaic and breakup were given to moderns?
Tbh what I think I need most is a user to bother and hang with. Maybe write lore with. Bounce ideas off of??

demonkid I agree, I would love to see more modern genes on Ancients. I've been wanting Lionfish/Noxtide on Banescales for so long, and Scales would look amazing on every species too. Peacock and Capsule are my weakness as well......
Also, I just found out a few days ago when going through my tickets that I was one of those people who suggested Mosaic & Breakup on moderns, and tbh...mood. I see why you did that, past me. Now if we could get Chevron/Arrow on moderns too, I'd be so grateful. I have too many Banescales but I'd like to even out that gene distribution a bit.

I need python/morp/slime/sludge on banescales so badly lol. I want my fav genes on my 2nd fav breed xD
Now that mosaic carried over to moderns, having the spiky chickens become spiky sneks or slime blobs doesn't seem too impossible of a dream :3
