Do you keep your perma dragons in your lair? Or your hib den?
I've seen some lairs where people keep them in the hib then, which... well, makes sense, they're their permas so no need to worry about feeding and stuff. Personally though, I prefer to have my permas in my lair. I don't know, I feel like it's the place where the important dragons would be I guess? ^^' And I keep in my hib dragons I'm unsure if I'll keep or give away or exalt.

Most of my non-breeding permas are in the den, with a few important gen1's out for the coli. Since I do a lot of breeding projects, I need all the space I can get in my lair. Plus, since those permas don't need to do anything else, feeding them would be pointless. I don't treat the den any different than my lair in lore though. ^^

Definitely in my lair- I feel like no one would see them if they were all tucked away sleeping in the hibernal den!
Though, on occasion, sometimes i'll pop my fandergs in the hibden, either because of food shortage or just needing more room. They don't really fit into my clan's lore anyways (for the most part, that is, though the ones that do are scattered among my main lair).

Permas are what I like to call "money hogs". They swallow money for genes, skins/accents, apparel, familiars.... they aren't really benefiting me aside from the fact that I love them. Fodder dragons, on the other hand, give back to the lair. Sure, they take up time and space like permas, but they ultimately get exalted (which can only be done with available lair space, so why clog my lair with permas?).
So that's how my lair is set up. Permas stay in the den, only coming out for familiar bonding/coli/breeding. The lair is dedicated purely to fodder and visiting dragons.
