Dear everyone who plays fr,
What are your meathods to get gems? It doesn't have to be like, good or effecient, just curious how people obtain their gems.

auction house selling! usually baldwin mats.
my adopt shop (though it’s closed rn rip) selling valuable mats, and converting g&g treasure into gems! ^~^ it depends a bit on the situation as well; if there’s a dragon or something up for purchase i’d really like to buy, i might end up selling off a dragon/their outfit for extra dragon cash.

Selling items for gems in the Auction House, opening Iron and Gilded Chests, and the well-fed lair bonus. Very occasionally, from exalting.

Buying an additional apparel slot
unlocks it for ALL your dragons,
not just one!

Mostly, I'm just getting the daily gems from wellfed.
Some times I'll sell stuff though.
I used to have an art shop, but one I stopped because genes were getting too complicated for me to keep up with and the other I stopped because when I attempted to do the same on Furvilla Beta, I was told by a few people that my art is poop. So those no longer bring in gems lol.
Rarely I'll sell my dragons super cheap for gems too. So that's something every once in a while.

Mostly selling stuff on the AH. Especially food.
Very, very inefficient, but:
- Daily well-fed gem
- Bond with Familiars most days and open every Iron and Gilded Chest
- Breed daily and exalt my own dragons for the occasional 1-gem bonus
And the bigger stuff:
- Sell Festival Chests on AH for gems
- Sell Eggs, Eliminates, and any other rare and valuable item I get from Coli grinding for gems
If I need gems for something, I will sell the chests and dragons rather than rely on the game-generated sources, but I mainly accumulate gems by not using them. My priorities have always been earn it myself without currency -> buy it with treasure -> buy it with gems.

Tbh I usually buy them with real money. Time poor, money well-off

Mostly from the daily gems and opening iron and gilded treasure chests when I get them from familiar bonding. I don't put things up on the auction house much anymore, but that's also a good way to get gems
I buy them from Items for Sale using treasure I get from daily G&G and exalting (and hoardselling Coli loot). The high ratio pains me but I gotta get that dragon cash somehow. :P
