Flight Rising Discussion

I've been in the wind flight for two years and I was thinking, maybe it's time to spice things up a little and take a vacation in Plague. Do y'all have any advice or stories about changing flights? I absolutely love Wind and know I'd be reluctant to spend all the gems to come back, so this is kind of a hard decision for me.

@Tinyparrot Hi! I've been changing flights for...a while now. I was in Ice back when I joined FR in 2014, and then I got into a couple more flights (Wind included, iirc!) before I settled in Earth for 2-3 years. I went to Nature after BSJ this June.

Being in different flights is an interesting and enjoyable experience. Flight forums vary in activity and culture—some flights may have slow, inactive forums, while others are buzzing with recent threads and activity—but the general trend is that people are nice anywhere you go, and they are more than welcome to help you around when you're new to their flight.

I can't share a lot of stories with my flight changes— I'm more of a lurker, so I can only claim to check my flight's forums every now and then.

As a last note: I wouldn't worry about using Gems to switch to another flight. You have a 6-month cooldown in between flight changes, so you have enough time to save up even if you play casually. :)
