That'd be nice. I think gaiaonline used to have something like that? Anyway, it'd deepen the divide between gems and treasure.

So basically you are rewarded with money for having money? For the very short time I played, DV had this, and all that people did was put in their money right before the interest-rollover time and then take their money right back out afterwards. Utterly meaningless.

It would create a huge problem: players would not be spending money because they would want to get as high interest as they can.
If it were capped at a very low amount, it might work. I know gryffs has it where you have 200,000 gold in the bank, you get 1000 a day, and that is the maximum. Anything over that, you don't get money for and if you have under that, you get less than 1k a day.
However, gryffs is a vastly different site, with few ways to make gold easily, so it works there.
However, on Aywas and Neopets both, I know I simply stuff money into the bank because interest is unlimited. And, it could be completely unrelated of course (and I know it isn't due SOLELY to interest), both Neopets and Aywas have a HUGE inflation problem.

THIS. I've been playing Neopets for 10 years, and I still can't believe how high their inflation is.

I like that on Neopets! You have to manually collect interest, and can't do it if you deposit money first.
Plus, even with 2.5mil Neopoints, I only have about 800 NP interest a day. It's practically useless, but it feels good to get free money.
