the average length of a human boat (at least the pirate inspired kind) is 103ft/31m, designed to be worked by creatures 5ft/1.6m. thats like, two humpback whales, or even three schoolbuses. just imagine how gargantuan the boats of sornieth are. a one made for ridgebacks? imperials? a tinier boat for fae? im just giddy thinking about boats please tell me im not alone here-
seeing that its nearly nineteen times as large a human is tall... a ridgeback that is, say, 20 m long, would be very uncomfy on those boats. hes two thirds of that boat! all the snipped ropes and pierced sails!. but if we have a boat that a whole crew could function on. DUDE.

This is why the ship in my lore only has smaller breeds haha (fae, tundra, skydancer, and mirror right now). I didn't realize Ridgebacks are so big, I thought they were like 8m max. Definitely no imps or guardians allowed on my ship, I think they'd literally be as big as it. They would have to swim/fly alongside. Guess I'll probably have to add Ridgebacks to that list. All that being said I really do enjoy this scene! Maybe I'll have to add an encounter with a humongous ship like that in my lore!
