smirch is cheap because you can get hundreds of them from NotN (night of the nocturne), an event in December.

Smirch is a pretty well-disliked gene, and it comes from the Night of the Nocturne event which happens during December- it comes out of chests, and it's not particularly rare either, so people can't really control how many they get :'D

you can only get smirch for two weeks a year too.. i guess the reason is that it seems to drop fairly frequently and also the fact that i dont think anyone wants it lmao

i have like 30 something smirch genes in my hoard,and thats even after liquidating some of them,,, they are unfortunately so easy to get, quickly followed by coliseum genes (which always start out brutally expensive then lower in price as people find and sell them)
