I've gotten that before many times, for me it normally takes quite sometime to wear off. It's a pain if you really want to send another message but can't.

Sometimes it took 1-2 hours to go away and other times it took around 3 hours, I do remember always being able to send messages again by the end of the day whenever that happened so it's not too long of a wait.

It baffles me that people actually reach the limit. I'm lucky if I send/receive one (1) pm in three months.
