So, in tundra's encyclopedia entry it is stated that they have very large canines used for fighting, not feeding. But... Just like the wintercoat, we never got to see those tusks in any official artwork or even cited outside of the encyclopedia!
So... I have some design options for the teef:

Or even! Maybe just like a Tundra in the Fire flight never will see their wintercoat, tundra's canines are also temperature-based!

What do y'all think?

first of all i love your art style, second of all i whole heartedly support this idea. compared to most of *cough cough spirals and skydancers* the other dragons, tundras aren't really that intimidating or interesting. the new pinkerton art shows they have potential to look a lot more regal than their ingame models. dont get me wrong, tundras are really cute but theyre also just kinda.. meh? giving them giant "heck off" teeth would be a great way to make them more appealing *-*

Actually, we do have a picture! But it's a little hard to see, and idk how canon you might consider it.

Maybe Plague Tundras just have more fangs.
I like your concepts though!! I have a Tundra with some fangs that stick out (Rozomund, no art yet though), and this weird Plague Tundra (Delfina).

Tbh, I see tundras as having once been meat-eaters but have since decided to become vegetarian. It’s entirely my own headcanon and I don’t think it’s supported by anything, but I just imagine they have a mouth like a big cat or a bear. These are all really cool concepts too though! The tundras on site (official art/NPCs) don’t have really prominent large teeth so it’s weird that it’s pointed out in their article. (I say that as somebody whose avatar is a tundra with big teeth lol)

this might not be far off, considering tundras descend from the ancient goaler, who eat both meat and plants!

Hmm. Anyone seen a domestic cat with the tips of their canine teeth showing like the site art Tundras do? When you lift that lip, you always discover that the reason those little fang tips stick out is because the canines are freaking huge. I'm serious, they're bigger than those of average cats.
I like to imagine that the Tundra canines are like that. Bigger on the inside [of the mouth] than on the outside. TARDIS teeth.

I imagine canines like large cats or like posted above, the chinese water deer. Big no on monkeys or hippos.

Are canines on both the upper and lower jaws, or just the upper? I always thought they were only the uppers XD
