I have a major problem.
I only remember users by their avatar dragon and to a lesser extent, their sig.
As soon as someone changes their avatar, I have no clue who they are or what they are known for. The only times I will still recognize a user that has changed their avatar recently is if they have an extremely distinct name/sig, or I have interacted with them before (unlikely as I am a professional lurker). Other than that it may take me an embarrassingly long time to realise that, no X user did not take a hiatus, they just changed their prof pic dragon.
Users who change their avatar once in a blue moon/never are my heroes.
Anyone else deal with this?

Nah, I probably just don't remember anyone at all unless we've talked or I like their lore. F.

That's how I recognize my own posts; just scroll and look for the mirror combo. But I've changed it for the festival, so it's throwing me off. Signatures are also a big help.

When someone changes their Username, they essentially cease to exist to me unless they happen to throw it in their signature somewhere... and even then it's a late realization. Avatar changing isn't quite as bad, but still not great.

Technically, yes, but I don't pay much attention. I recognize absolutely no one unless I've interacted with them long enough to consider a friend and have learned them by name or they have a notable trait, like Henry, that human with the all imp lair

I'm fairly okay at recognizing usernames, but I mainly go by avatars/signatures. It definitely throws me off whenever it happens. ^^"

I remember people by their faces more than by their names, in-game and in real life. As soon as somebody changes their avatar dragon, they become a complete stranger to me.

I do the exact. Same. Thing. IRL, I recognize people by their hair, so it’s actually very similar for me.
Yes, but I don't care to remember. Most of users change their avatar, signature and vista frequently. My memory doesn't bother to keep track and usernames alone don't register well enough. Users who look the same without any changes for all the time, I can recognise more or less, but that's about it.
