What are some things in lore or canon that you'd like to ignore?
I'd like to ignore the fact that ridgebacks are close to imperials in size. (At least I remember them being that big.) It's uncanny.

How tiny faes are. I like to imagine if an imp and a fae met, the fae would be large enough to not accidentally be snorted up the nose of the imp.

The fact that many breeds seem to not like to live in mixed-species lairs, or are too different behaviorally to live together easily. (Mirrors, Pearlcatchers, Snappers, etc)

That dragons can't change their element and that they seemingly behave like humans who just so happen to look like dragons at times. I get that it makes them feel approachable if they're relatable, but I personally prefer world building that has a more unique spin to it.
