ok so im really tempted to change my user but, i'm scared i'll regret it right away lmao. i still have my free change but after that i'll have to get 500g to change it. ill probably ponder it over night then decide.

my current user is after my animal crossing town and island, but i'm not that into it (as a username). it was more of a placeholder username for when i started (and i hoped i could change it later on).

for people who have changed users; have you regretted it (and changed back)? has someone taken your old user? why did you change your user?

I literally don't like this name at all, it reminds me too much of my cringy middle school self xD

I just don't change it for one main reason, it's that I'm afraid I'll have to change my name on a frickton of pinglists and people won't recognize me (and yeah, it's expensive).

yeah i ended up liking this username so much i completely rebranded every single place i could have a un to match this one :P
i definitely don't regret it, my old one i had for nearly 9 years (Oddballme) and it wasnt bad but i was tired of it. i kinda had the same fears but one day i just decided "oh heck it" and changed it anyways.
it's totally up to you but as long as you like the un you'd change to, i don't see why not!

I want to change my username but I'm on so many art pinglists that only ping once a year. It'll be a feat and a half to fix all of them but I'm going to make the attempt after Halloween.

I started off as GlitchChocobo which was just the UN I used everywhere at the time but I got tired of it and switched to my current name after much consideration and fearing I'd regret it and I've not had a single desire to change back (it's been like... two years I think)

If your UN was just meant as a placeholder you don't really like that much as long as you pick a UN you like now I'd say your chances of regretting the decision are lower than if you stick with your UN you know you don't like

(also Wishwood is a v nice AC name, my island is Dreamlight!)

The only thing I could see being a problem is the pinglist stuff mentioned above which wasn't a problem for me since I didn't start using the forums until after the UN change

I've changed my UN something like 20 times. Sometimes I regret it. Sometimes I go back to an old favorite. Mostly, I like the changes, though I really would love to be able to settle down with one without wanting to change it again in two months.

I've never changed my username before. I like it too much to do that.

i once changed my name to thearcangel,realized i had a typo and changed it back to elsycl because of pure anger alone
500g isnt that much at the end of the day

was ZoeyNova, my universal name, at one point

now my universal username is a god awful play on words, despairpods :')
