they mean the three gene icons in front of the colors, not the colors themselves!
it can be easily overlooked sometimes, but i think it looks great without them! might consider doing it myself :0

BRO, holy heck...........how did I not come up with this. I only block the element of my Treasure and Gem count when I'm opening chests so I get surprised by the sheer amount when I remove the block. It's fun.
