My lore has been changing since I joined FR, but never got the chance to write them out due to lack of motivation.
My first flight was in lightning, and I planned to make a CYOA about lightning dragons who find gods underwater at the water flight in search for Tidelord and the mysteries underwater...and lots of eldritch monsters. Cuz..science!
Then I moved to light since I had an even new idea! I thought of quitting FR due to mental health I suppose and I thought of the idea of annual plants. So I changed the CYOA into a Waterway setting, where a dragon is annual and has a 1 year old lifespan who's nearing the end of his life, and wants to relive his memories before he dies. Then, I plan to quit within 1 year of joining FR.
But then I got lazy...and didn't quit FR. And thought of travelling and how cool it would be. So I left light for wind! Now my clan is more lighthearted and is a school of travellers! And I also have a CYOA (but i didnt write it out) about the a traveller and his adventures all over Sornieth.
So how has your lore changed?

originally my clan was going to be a group of pseudo-vigilantes that were all one big unhappy family. then i started a subproject called the 'Court of Angels', which is exactly what it sounds, but eventually gave up after lack of motivation. My current lore is going to be about a quaint, Shores village neighboring a large, corrupt Kingdom, with a few dark secrets....
still a wip though sigh

My clan is not really a "clan" in the sense that everyone lives together or knows eachother, i like to treat it like each dragon is an individual with it's own story separated from the rest.
Think of it as a conpilation of stories.

First it was going to be a monarchy and then i decided eh,
then I just floundered around a lot with "Stone ages" style living, and near animal intelligence
and now its just a town with a bunch of dragons like, basically animal crossing

Originally it was this one dragon wanting to overthrow this evil king dude
Now it's one very tired dude with annoying glitchy tricksters in a post apocalyptic world

Believe me, darling
The stars were made for falling
My clan leader was intended to be from another flight, thus making all of the clan members not trust his ability to lead.
Now he's gonna be an Ice flight member who's really young and has a Coatl best friend he translates for. The clan kinda doubts his ability to lead because he's so young and only recently started training before the previous leader died but he has an advisor and priest on his side.
first try was a bad plan, did not know what I was doing. plan to write pack goes through storm, wait, I didn't finish the outline before I started writing oh heck
second try a bad plan, but better, and I am make outline of pack fully now
second and a half try, a good plan! but terribly executed and also scrapped.
basically, not much change. better go through 2 more years here

At first it was slice-of-life style- I have cute and happy domestic couples and just a happy town!
Now there are things in the forest that you do not mess with. Under any circumstances. They will kill you. Better wear red. (This was pre-veils, still keeping the faeries.)
Also my progen's kids are all drawn to other elements aesthetics and practices or their stories otherwise revolve around that element- For example, Sliit was imprisoned in the fortress of ends for a bit. He is heavily traumatized.
Edit- forgot to mention that the progen kid thing actually started when I first joined- the first elemental festival I saw was ice, so I put a cool accent on Sliit. Doesn't match him but I'm too attached to remove it.

I went in the opposite direction lol, I started in Wind and had my clan as a lighthearted group of travelers and it stayed that way through my time in Shadow and Nature, but now I'm in Arcane and totally revamping everything to "there are eldritch horrors and assorted chaos gays in the Starfall Isles and some weirdos in Lightning are trying to track them down and contain them" [emoji=special eyes size=1]

I was originally in Arcane with a clan that was just a collection of honestly pretty disconnected dragons, and my progens led them and they were peaceful and it was just a pretty uninteresting setup
SO I created Baklajan, who is the clan's former alchemist--she changed herself into a bogsneak, but it made her disease-ridden, so she was forcefully exiled, and after strengthening herself in plague territory and making some new allies, she returns and captures the clan for herself.
For a while, while I was still in arcane, my clan was in a weird limbo of Baklajan's clan and the dragons she decided could stay, and the exiles she kicked out
Then, about a year ago, I moved to water!! A move a long time coming, tbh, as I hadn't really been in love with arcane for a long time
With my water move came the new structure I've been improving upon since, which is basically a hierarchy that values dragons for warfare and scientific advancement; civilians have to provide for everyone, and in exchange they get to live in the clan and be safe. The clan is now the Oceanarium, an underwater complex designed for interflight living, with some accessory areas outside of the complex--I need to make a map :')
All in all, I started out with a rly boring structure that didn't make much sense, and I'm very proud of where my clan is at now!! it's much better i think
