honestly, i'm getting bored of collecting dragons. which is, basically, the entire point of the site so uhhhh.... yeah. but what's kept me here recently is the community!

i like participating in the IF events run by other users in plague. scavenger hunts, exalting, etc. and helping people complete their den tasks as well as loaning out my cauldron to people who need it, donating to my dom bank,

then there's the completionist stuff; unlocking all my den slots (even the gem ones) so i can have more space to sell fellow germs cheap fodder, awakening and filling out my bestiary, etc.

i love looking at my greenies!! and the at-minimum-monthly updates are a biiiig factor for keeping me here. looking at new genes, apparel, familiars, heck even QOL improvements are always so exciting! I dont keep breeding pairs, i just mash two dragons together and see what happens, and then i either get fodder i can sell or a unique dragon i can spoil! i think xxx pairs with the same genes, hoarding stuff with no intention of using it instead of selling it to get something you actually want, and hatching and geneing g1s just because they count as being valuable would take a lot of joy out of the game for me. i think you should just focus on what is funnest for you like i did! what's a little upheaval here and there in the name of satisfaction, you know? i mean, yesterday i achieved one of my main goals, buying the many eyes green accent![url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/64968069][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/649681/64968069_350.png[/img][/url] i spent a tooooon of funds, but it was so worth it to achieve something so big for me!

I mostly stay around for my project dragons. I love hatching & buying G1's that are to my tastes, even ones that might be considered kind of ugly. Some of those G1's, I like to breed for second generations, though they usually don't span out longer than those second gens since most view anything beyond first gen as pretty worthless.

I do like making multi-gen pairs to my own tastes too, & recently a lot of those are looking like I might be making a lot of Veilspuns when I can.

On top of that, learning the economy on the site & how to make currency has been a recent fun thing for me. 8) I also look forward to my favorite festivals & NotN, so I'm pumped for next month!

I was in the same boat you are. I had a full monolair of Snappers, all gened and dressed, and then I was like, okay I'm done? What else do I do? I had a hatchery, which was super fun and I met some great friends that way, but running it ended up giving me anxiety. I kinda quit, I ended up just coming back for festivals. And the Veils were released and I was like "oh man so pretty, but I'll never afford one and then it HIT ME, wait this is the point of goals. NEW GOAL!? So I did a major lair purge, I've been selling/exalting my entire lair, with the exception of my progens and battle team. And I've made it a new goal to scroll them all into Veils, which is gonna be expensive, but time consuming and that's the point right? Honestly it's been 3 days and I'm fully addicted to FR all over again, it's exciting [emoji=familiar heart size=1]

Sounds to me like you'd benefit from completely purging your entire lair. Start fresh with new dragons, new apparel. Start to clear out your hoard/vault. You don't have to sell everything all at once but listing a little each day will help you feel less cluttered in the long run. Take some time to think about what you'd find fun to do on FR.

I'd also suggest browsing the Quests & Challenges section. Plenty of people post their goals there, there's a lot to read through and draw inspiration from.

[/quote] This. ^^ switch it up by changing to a new flight, take a vacation, purge your lair, set some new goals, interact with the community a lot.

Recently started collecting desert themed g1s and that's gotten me back into the site a lot more... aesthetic projects are fun.
