i actually really love? green toned dragons & really find them nice on gaolers for some reason? I had wanted to do an entire hatchery build on green gaolers but those can be hard to get attention & have a unique twist that attract others ( especially since green tones don't seem super popular ).

i've also come to really appreciate yellow tones, & really like the grapefruit color. i actually forget sometimes that it's a yellow tone since it can be red & yellow on certain genes like poison or skink.

so what are your favorite colors that aren't really popular?

Mainly spring. It's so universally hated it seems, but it's such a good color! I love the orangey tones some genes give it tbh...

Thistle is by far my favourite colour fight me

Also, coral, tangerine and sky don't seem very popular but gosh, do I love them ;w;

I don't see orchid or grapefruit used a lot, but I honestly love both of those colors.... same goes for Eldritch. People seem super averse to using most of the colors in that little genuine black range that aren't obsidian, which is so weird to me

@pokemoncha I've seen people really get upset when hatching G1s with the inclusion of spring in any of the colors. It's a workable color if anything & isn't that bad, but different tastes & all! @Tsiegh Thistle is a good color! So are the ones you've mentioned! Honestly don't know why sky is kinda unpopular, I really enjoy that color on a personal level! Same with some of the orange tones. @Recallback Orchid is a GREAT color for eyeburner dragons too, so I feel like it's a huge miss for those specifically! Oilslick. My first breeding project was Oilslick/Oilslick/Honey, and I got him on the first try! I love how it looks, not just black but brown tones too.

Pink, jade, grapefruit. All at once. Grapefruit crackle is very nice, but it actually is popular.
Also like, the red-brown range? I see a lot of cool-toned brown dragons but not a lot of, say, terracotta dragons.

I feel like Tangerine is underrated? I also like Spring and Thistle.
