I've accumulated quite a few from familiar bonding and I was wonder if you guys think it's worth it to open them, sell em on the AH, or just gather mats for the Swap recipe.
Mostly curious on what all of you do with them.

Depends on what you need. I constantly seek quick cash, so I just open them. Sometimes I have tried to gather for the Swipp trade, but it never went through. From what I know, they don't usually sell on the AH.

i keep 99 in the vault for the swipp trade and open the rest
Since gold ore sells for a lot wouldn’t it be more worth it to sell your gold ore instead of using it for the swipp trade?

I open all my rusted chests. I do recommend selling iron and gilded chests on the auction house, though, and it is unlikely you will make as much opening it as you could selling it.

Based on my research when I started collecting you get more value on average for selling your chests than opening your chests.
But that's coming from the perspective of someone who [i]is[/i] collecting them, so take my advice with a lot of [item=salt].

^ My response as well. I started vaulting them, gonna be very satisfying to open 1000+ chests at once.
