Flight Rising Discussion

Not sure if this is the right place to but this but I have some thoughts.

Personally I am hoping for a lightning dragon, not just because I am from lighting but because I think lightning is kinda under represented in lore (If that makes senses) and It would be nice to have some stuff about the boss man and crew.

but realistically I am betting on it being wind. Not just because I love the whole wind aesthetic but because I have a gut feeling.

What do you guys think

Won't be Wind; Wind and Light are most likely going to be last. Staff have said they're going to prioritise flights that don't already have two breeds.

We're guessing Arcane or Water. Staff hinted somewhere that the next ancient might be more out there in terms of design. Arcane could be a cool fit for that, we need some sort of creepy magical eldritch abomination dragon.

Two heads! or if it's arcane, maybe a head crest or something like the Arcanist has.

I'm betting on Lightning. They seem to be going in order of the Bounty of the Elements, and I think Lightning is the fourth one, unless I misread it.

cause if plague is mistreated, then so is water
their god has been gone for years now and they just generally don't get a whole lot of attention and are known to be a little upset with guardians and their representation.
so definitely think it should be a water ancient.

I want to have a really freaky plague or arcane ancient, something with multiple limbs/heads/mouths and stuff like that!

Water preferably. Or any flight that still only has one breed such as nature I believe earth would cool as well...

Really though I’m ready for the next modern. I may like ancients but I’ll only keep one pair of each kind at a time. I like dragons I can dress and give modern genes.

My bet is Nature or Water for the next breed in general, modern or ancient- The most popular theory about the Tidelord's return is that it will be with a new breed, and Nature deserves a treasure breed already. I'd love a Nature ancient with plants growing out of their back like the Gladekeeper's treewings (Imagine! An ancient with both Blossoms and Branches!), and some kind of deep sea leviathan for Water would be super cool and a pretty "out there" design.

Arcane would be cool. Think of all the "body horror" possibilities they could have from Arcanists tom-foolery

My bets are on Lightning being next, since they haven’t broken the bounty of the elements order yet and lightning is next in BOTE
