twice I've had dragons in my lair featured on the front page, (as far as I know,) due to kind souls letting me know! so know whenever I happen to be checking the home page, I'll check to see if the current random dragon is in an active lair so I can pay it forward. (sometimes i'm even beat by someone else commenting too!) i'm just curious...is this practice common? and does it make anyone else just as happy when their dragon gets randomly selected?

If no one else commented on the user's page letting them know, then I'll comment! c: Unless it's an especially beautiful dragon that really caught my eye then I'll leave a nice comment about them.

I love when people do these! ^^ I only had a dragon up on the front page once, but it made me smile when users had let me know.
I try to do the same, but I don't go on the front as often as I should. Although, it seems nearly EVERY time I do check the front page dragon, it's from an inactive user lol. :') ,,,,I gotta check more often!

I love it when people tell me my dragons are on the front page. So far I have had two.
I think i never had one of my dragons featured (or i was never notified if yes... sniff)
but like 80% of the featured dragons are from dead accounts so... XD

i do it only if the dragon is especially eye-catching to me... i hope someone does the same for me one day, i don't think i've ever had a dragon featured.

I don't, because I kinda don't care about being featured dragon.

I really enjoy doing this! It's always nice to see dragons on the front page in an active lair, though I always make sure to check if the user has on their profile if they don't want front page dragon comments or say they're not a dead lair if their energy bars may not be full.

When I'm not doing much, I'll check the front page and click on the dragon. If it's not starving, I usually post on their page that it was on the front page even if someone else posted as well. It's just something fun I do when I don't have much else to do or check on-site. I always love seeing if a dragon of mine will get on the front page, be it fodder or a perma! So far I think I've only had one dragon on the Front Page.
