I personally always feel like if I am keeping a dragon, I should try to level it as high as possible... Low-key I even feel like other people are looking at that sort of thing when they are checking out my dragons haha. But it also really feels a bit like spoiling them! So whenever I am in the position to grind or want to do something in the background, I pop my trainers and lowest level perma in the coli and just go
How about you guys? Do you level your permadragons? Have any reasons or set standards behind it?

All my dragons must be at least level 10. Breeding project pairs and permas. I'm hoping that at some point, I'll get to the point of doing them all at level 25, but uh... that's a lot of dragons.

Only if it makes sense for their lore, usually.

I'm currently working on leveling my 40th level 25. The only dragons that I haven't intended to level are my pet tribute dragons, just because it feels weird taking them into the coliseum. That might change once I've leveled all my other permas.
I even lament that I didn't level my permababies before I scrolled them, but having level 25 permababies seems a bit pointless anyway.

I usually level to around 7. I have too many dragons to be worth going much higher.

40-50% of my permas are trained at some point, though I usually do it out of pure boredom or for fun

No that's way too much effort :D We only have a few level 25 dragons as that's all we need.

^ Yeah same. I'd rather spend my time elsewhere. I have my three trusty coli fighters and they're really all I need.
The only reason I'd level any dragon to 25 is to make them a coli fighter.

I train all my permas to at least level 3, so that they aren't in my fodder feed. It takes one battle in GLR or Mire. Eventually I want at least one level 25 of every element, and I should probably finish training my poor progens...but that's a task for another time.
