Flight Rising Discussion

Yes, I am making playlists dedicated to the Flight Rising deities! I already have a few songs, but I'd like some inspiration,,, because I do like listening to music I haven't heard of or thought of adding!
I'd like to see what y'all come up with,, ;o

Mother mother gives me plague vibes =3

A lot of TOOL songs are big Arcanist vibes, especially ones like Lateralus, Schism, and Parabol/a. Primus' Brown Album seems like an Earthshaker album because mm yummy basslines.

Everything Black by Unlike Pluto [link] reminds me of Shadowbinder
just for the lines:

If the Shadowbinder playlist isn't as emo as you can make it then is it really a Shadowbinder playlist.
That said, Halestorm might have some good Plaguebringer songs. Much angry, very violence.

I made some deity/flight playlists a few years ago.
I don't remember all of the songs, but Windsinger is totally sticking out to me today??

it's been a very long time (literal years) since i last thought about this, so i've likely forgotten most of what i used to think on this subject, but of what i can remember right now-

lightweaver- whatever the name of lusamine's battle theme was from pokemon sun/moon

stormcatcher- literally anything from tron legacy and portal 2, also the core theme from undertale, and "into darkness" by tsfh used to remind me intensely on whatever my impression of the lightning flight and it's territories IN GENERAL was back then when i was significantly more creative and capable of mentally conceiving and consistently remembering interesting and very intense atmospheres

icewarden- the sovngarde theme

arcanist- hopes & dreams and save the world from undertale, and lights of resonance which i don't remember who it was made by

gladekeeper- natural light & testing with nature from portal stories mel

windsinger- gusty garden galaxy from mario galaxy and new life and fearless by two steps from hell, probably the theme song from httyd 2 that everyone was posting everywhere back when they were doing that mistral jamboree music contest every year, so some very minor and really only retrospective because i didn't associate them at all at the time degree his world & endless possibility from sonic could possibly count, i feel obligated to mention tsfh's "color the sky" even though the song itself i don't think has anything that could particularly be interpreted as wind vibes

flamecaller- melty molten galaxy, mario again

i'm not sure if any of this is the kind of thing you're looking for, half of it is video game soundtracks and instrumental premade movie tracks from years ago in a better era we will never recapture nor remember being part of again and the other half is weird kinda trashy experimental emo stuff and sonic, which is more or less a (bad) genre of it's own

Honestly, I feel like many of AURORA's songs fit Arcanist, but here are a few of especially good ones:

• A Different Kind of Human (this one is just so good, my #1 recommendation!)
• Daydreamer
• All My Demons

Stormcatcher: most songs from Dr steel, especially something like Raja, not so much of the lyrics but the feel of the song. But others relate lyrically to him i feel

Lightweaver: Can you feel the sunshine - Sonic R (yes this is kinda a joke, but also it wouldnt be a horrible fit. Song is a bit cursed tho)

Plaguebringer: eye of the tiger (pretty generic ik, but i mean its a song about survival in some sense...)
