just some thoughts for me to put out in the world;
being in plague is awesome. we have a cool mom, lots of soup, and infectious love to go around
plus the apparel and aesthetic is
yes.
however, there's an unfortunate thing i've seen with plague...
that being that oftentimes we've gotten the short end of the stick.
i'm not exactly talking about last year's fest (well, sort of... but i loved the apparel, so i won't say anything). the events of last year were unfortunate, yeah, but i respect the staff's decision to shy away from disease.
one of my greatest concerns is having to share an ancient with nature, and/or having an ancient breed released alongside nature's. you could say, what's the big deal? and honestly
i dont know fhdjf
but i think that i have a lot of reason to be greatly upset if plague doesn't get its own individual representation via an ancient breed seeing as we didn't get our own story for BotE. nature's great and all, but i really don't want to share everything with them. you feel?
life and death, different aesthetics, etc. set them apart. so the two aren't exactly sharing everything, but in this case i do seriously feel plague should have their own standalone breed, etc. p l e a s e
so anyways that's my ted talk thanku for coming

I doubt Plague and Nature won't get individual breeds, Nature would be pretty angry too. From what I've seen they're just as upset about basically having to share all our lore. And there's no way staff doesn't know how upset everyone would get over it
...geez, we really are sibling flights.
(Though, I will say, Plague still isn't death. Plague is survival against Nature's growth, not death against life. Or, Plague is growth through survival, and Nature is survival through growth. Philosophy and aesthetic is only really where we differ, the flight's end goals and ferocity are the same, even if it's not always presented that way...)

Please no. Plague and Nature have such interesting themes and characteristics that make them unique, and lumping them together is doing them such a disservice. On the other hand, if they did share an ancient, I could make my Garote and Liefa fandragons an adopted childe for them to raise.

Earth got years of bad apparel. Remember the mashed potato pauldrons?
And yet, I'm not giving up hope that we're finally going to get decent aesthetic stuff other than boring brown pebbles.
You have no reason to give up hope either

Yeah I can confirm Drakessis's statement. Us Nature folk would absolutely be Big Mad if we had to share an ancient with Plague. At least I would.
None of us in Nature want to steal or take attention away from Plague or anything, just so you're aware. We're the other side of the coin. We also only get half. Half the representation, half the lore...
The concept of twin flights is amazing. Heck, the concept of a shared ancient is pretty neat too! It just would absolutely not work in practice.
Edit: and for the record, Plague does already have a standalone breed, the mirrors. Nature, interestingly, almost does not. Most of the overview section in the wildclaw encyclopedia page is about how a ton of them live in Plague. So a shared ancient really would be a huge spit in the face for both flights.

i did want to clarify that i don't see nature as wanting to share and such, i know those in Gladeauntie's flight would be Big Mad just like we would

maybe after the release of each flight’s respective ancients? the idea of a shared ancient could be cool, and we don’t know how many ancients they even plan on releasing

i think its easy to assume both flights would be mad if we had to share an ancient bc that's how any other flight would feel about it
ice and fire get their own ancient and then shadow/light suddenly get 'veilspun counts for both of you'? that'd go down pretty poorly imo [emoji=veilspun scared size=1]
so i'm presuming that we'll have separate ancients bc nobody is really going to want to be forced to be the two flights who have to share when everyone else gets their own
and if that's not the case i will be pretty mad about it [emoji=veilspun laughing size=1]

Yeah, I don't think there's anyone in either flight who would vaguely want that. I think the only thing that'd be, like, okay for the ancients being connected would be their lore having them serve similar/directly contrasting roles or some other minor lore thing. I hope for the sake of my own and everyone in both flights' sanity that the devs take the sensible route and Do Not Do That- Could you imagine the sort of disaster that'd be? *shudders*
As one Nature member (i don't remember who but they were very smart and correct) pointed out one time I saw, Nature basically has half a breed right now, seeing as Wildclaws are so hard to obtain and their lore goes on about how many of them are in Plague, so giving them another half breed would be just cruel.
Plus. I want a full 11 Ancients >:/ My dumbest longest term goal is a permababy ancient flight rep for each flight, and I can't have that if the site's imploded because someone thought it'd be so nifty to make Plague and Nature share.
Staff said they'd address it
They haven't
