1. What are you personally looking for when buying a dragon? Any particular colours and genes?
2. What genes and colours are you doing the opposite of looking for in dragons?

Silly bonus question: what are you looking for in a derp derg? How boopable should the snoot be? What is the most boopable dragon?

Really the only criteria I'm looking for in a dragon is that they're a male Skydancer. I have some genes and colours that I really like, but I never really get super specific in my search of new dragons. I like pretties and uglies, so anything will do!

I don't really put off any colours, but I tend to skip out on Crystal/Facet, Iridescent, Metallic/Alloy, and most other gem genes with a few exceptions. Gem gene genuinely look too flashy or just don't fit my taste.

I really only look for familiars I don't own. I don't really buy many off the AH, instead I attempt to get them through the Coli or through Chests.

I hoard Gears. I love them! :D

I don't really look for 'derp dragons,' so I can't really answer this.

matchy colors, colors that flow well into each other, or Black range+any color, or blue range +yellow/orange/red range

not cohesive
not matchy
not a color combo I enjoy

ones I don't have

1. Varies, but mostly dragons that use the gene/color/breed combo creatively, dragons I think look perfect without apparel, and genes/colors that can't really be improved upon; which can be anything (my current profile dragon is an xxy triple basic). I also like to look for dragons that have genes/breeds I dont have or don't typically like, though this is harder to land a purchase with as im very picky. I also dont like eyes that blend in except for in certain circumstances, and gravitate toward light, plague (not primal) and ice eyes since they pop more. I do have a higher tendency to buy Halloween aesthetic dragons though, and like dragons born on special holidays whether they match the theme or not (like veilspuns born on the veilspun release date). Oh and palindromes. I dont really care about other ID numbers, but palindromes make me really happy so I think its worth mentioning. 2. I dont specifically avoid them, as im on the look for genes displayed in a manner I like; but I'm least likely to buy keel, glowtail, contour, firefly in dark colors, runes, scales, poison/toxin, saturn/jupiter, piebald/paint, leopard/clouded, really dont like mosaic/breakup, and clown. Lionfish I dont honestly know, its really hit or miss. Any color is fair game because the genes present so differently, but I dont think I have many yellow or blue dragons. 3. If I'm buying, I go for the most inexpensive I dont own to maximize bonding, or specifically to match dragons! Or hib den tasks if I need them. Otherwise its just ones I dont have in my collection. 4. I dont really hoard, but I am in love with the lawn flamingos and all the little diety crafts and have a handful of these little guys in my vault! 1. What are you personally looking for when buying a dragon? Any particular colours and genes?
I do love stained, but generally just interesting dragons. I tend to either browse hatcheries I like or search the AH for my favourite breeds (bane, fae, gaoler, spiral, veilspun, nocturne, mainly) and sort by expiry so I'm not just seeing fodder on page one.

2. What genes and colours are you doing the opposite of looking for in dragons?
I pretty much avoid speckle/freckle and keel, just cause I don't think they're nice genes. Though keel, when used well, can be interesting. I also tend to avoid eyeburners.

3. How about familiars, what familiars are you most often on the look out for?
I'm not working on my bestiary at the moment, so I almost never buy familiars. I just coli farm and buy the fest ones.

4. What items do you hoard? (I.e. I hoard plants in my vault)
Nothing in particular! I never sell/hoard sell food, so I guess just food!

Nothing in particular except that I've recently started buying mainly G1s only. I look through the cheap G1 pages, scry, and see what catches my fancy.

I don't really avoid specific colors besides like Honey, Amber, and Rose?? I just don't like them that much :/

Boss fams. Currently farming for a Rockback Charger

4. What items do you hoard? (I.e. I hoard plants in my vault)
The plushies, lawn flamingos, boss enemy drops, cooking pots, and spoons.

1. i only buy g1s, but otherwise i look for colors and genes with lots of accent colors and contrast. radioactive, sunset, orchid, and lemon come to mind! i tend to like pin/trail, skink, and py/morph!
2. theres not a lot of colors i avoid because oddly matchy xyz's are my style but probably some of the dull yellows like goldenrod? as for genes, i don't have any i absolutely hate, they're all situational
3. ones i dont have of course, but i particularly seek out ones that match my dragons, old fest fams, and colorful ones!
