Thinking about changing my username. I like it but I'm not dutch or anything so it doesn't really stick with me.
But to people who have changed their username, I have some questions ^^
1. Did you feel like it was worth the gems?
2. What did you do about all the pinglists you were on? Did you have to message people about your user change one by one?

1. It was my first name change (even after being here for so long!) so it was free, it would have been worth it though!
2. Yep, it was an utter pain pming everyone, and I'm sure my old name is still on a few pinglists.

i've only changed my name once, for free, and it was absolutely worth it bc my old name had me deadname in it. if i did have to pay gems, tho, i still would've done it.
i'm not on a lot of pinglists generally so i didn't worry about that too much, tho i did have to correct the swipp swap pinglist on my own.

1 - yeah, every time ive done it is yeah
2 - i went around and updated them from time to time but eventually gave up somewhere around my 4th or 5th change
ive changed usernames at least 12 times, am losing count, and im still having an identity crisis

1) Considering the fact that it was a very impulse decision made in the span of five minutes when i saw a thread about it; yes it was absolutely worth the 500g

and for pinglists: i just went and found all the things i was on and pinged the owner. they eventually changed it to my new user! it's surprisingly not as difficult as i thought it'd be...
