My laptop is dying and I've been relying solely on mobile for nearly 2 months to go on FR but it feels like my favourite features I use most have very limited use. I love the dressing room but I can't enjoy it without any way to switch around apparel. Seems only possible when your dressing your dragon on their page. Coli-grinding is a nightmare. My phone is too long/skinny(?) for landscape mode since part of the venue gets cut off. Same with portrait mode which I'm forced to cut off half the screen when I have to zoom in just to use the buttons. Full screen is a joke and has no use whatsoever. Also my poor thumbs hurt. Can't take part in "new item mp frenzy" because refreshing and selecting the new item is basically impossible and I'm always too late.
And then, the most used feature: The scrying workshop. How can you select colours when you can't even see them? Just the name. It's a nightmare. ;_; All I do nowadays is feed, incubate, and only sometimes gather because I've been forgetting to lately. Even posting on forums is a hassle. This post has taken me half an hour to write so far. I'm slow at texting in general.
So, TL;DR, FR on mobile is a nightmare, how do you long time mobile users do it? Do you still enjoy flight rising despite the mobile limits? How do you cope, y'all? :[

If not you can search for it on another window, I think the unofficial FR wiki has it with images~ so you can check and pick. It is slower but doable.

I feel like the site is designed to have individual elements so small that it works better with a phone. I also have a long/skinny phone and I do grind the Coliseum occasionally on it, but the fact that it only takes up like 1/4 of your screen definitely sucks. I think I go for fullscreen mode, don't think I tried the horizontal mode though.
I really wish desktop mode would show the normal selection for colors though.

I switch between *technically mobile* *actual mobile* and *pc desktop*. I find each one has their pluses and minuses. I prefer my IPad *technically mobile* for everyday use because that has the most functionality. It’s easy to copy paste, glimmer gloom is easy, and just the general size of things is good. Sure you can’t see the colors in the workshop but genes end up changing how they look anyway and more than a few aren’t even similar. I ended up memorizing most of them anyway. Desktop with mouse is great for certain games like tidal trouble and shockswitch (which does NOT work on a touchscreen) but bad for others like coli and G&G. Desktop with touchscreen is pretty much like the iPad. Slightly slower for some things.
I use mobile as that last ditch I wanna look at fr at night sort of deal. It’s really great for coli because it’s less movement for my hands and they don’t end up hurting as much (I have bad hands, don’t destroy them playing games for hours kids). I can set it up that my attacks and all the monsters are all still on screen and I can just tap tap tap. But replying to forum posts and doing things like posting dragons (There’s no quick clipboard button on my phone unlike the iPad) is a real pain in the butt. Scrying is also a pain in the butt because of constant zoom in/out. I could probably get used to it all but I’m spoiled by the iPad. Lol
