I really want to know what other people have in terms of their lore for their dragons. I haven't fully fleshed mine out, but I'm super interested in seeing what others have to say- whether or not it's about their lair as a whole, or an individual dragon or two!!

Eyy circus lore! Same hat! Though [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/den/539101/1958101?name=&type=undefined]mine[/url] is very very wip since I'm waiting for some breeding projects. It's on the darker side since the performers aren't all willingly there.
Aside from that, Mel here is a writer whose stories come to life (shaped as dragon/monsters) so her tab is all about unconnected stories, irrelevant to the clan.

YEAAAAAH CIRCUS LORE!!! i just went and checked your dragons, and they're all so lovely! Mel here looks like she knows her stuff too (not to mention the color and gene pattern is lovely). i'd love to hear some of her stories, and the structure you have for your circus! :o)

First,
my profile page has a list of all dragons with fully-written bios. (A few even include short stories to expand on clan/individual dragon lore!) Except for Czar and Haven, all the bios were written 4+ years ago, so don't mind if they're a bit rough around the edges... I'm planning on editing a few of them in the near future. Of the written ones though, my favorites are
Amethyst,
Haven, and
FEMM. My favorite short story is in
Champagne's bio.
The first two pages of my
lore tab are dedicated to my more traditional dragon lair, page 3 is dedicated to the quickly growing Troupe, and page 4 is all about Willow and her stuffed dragon creations.
The Troupe (name still being workshopped) is a travelling troupe that travels over the north-eastern lands of Sornieth (so Earth, Nature, Shadow, and Light). The Troupe is more of a loose connection of wandering individuals than a tight-knit band. Some of the members include:
- Irazu, the troupe master. She can use magic to quickly grow water and edible plants where there were previously none, meaning the Troupe never is lacking for basic supplies. Organizes venues, and handles the financials.
- Chihiro and Castle, who both work as food vendors for the Troupe. One specializes in tiny, incredibly delicious deserts, and the other specializes in mukbang-style spicy dishes. They're in friendly competition over who can sell more than the other at each venue. Historically, spicy food tends to be more popular in Earth and Light venues, while sweets are more popular in Shadow and Nature, so they're always flipping back and forth on who is currently "winning."
- The Pearlcatcher who cast away their name. They can see into the pearls of other Pearlcatchers/former Pearlcatchers and read the memories they store there. You can read my "proof of concept" pearl reading here, with them reading FEMM's pearl. Fair warning, FEMM fills her pearl with traumatic memories, so it's a sad fortune!
- Lyra, Hymn of the Tempest, and her (tiny, tiny) girlfriend Sylph, Lady of the Butterflies. Lyra's charge is her viola, and her goal in life is to travel with the Troupe in search of old, rare music, and collect its knowledge, to prevent its extinction. Sylph has an incredible passion for aerial dances and dances to the music Lyra makes with her viola. During their more static performances together, she will take to singing instead.
As for
Willow, she was the victim of a tragic alchemy accident that burnt off her wings. She sewed herself new wings, and, realizing she was able to make them part of her living being, decided to experiment with this strange ability she realized she had. She can sew together stuffed dragons and breathe life into them. She sells them as companions to lonely and/or travelling dragons--they're very convenient and have their own personalities! The ones in her page are the beginnings of her personal menagerie of patchwork friends and helpers.

Oneiros sort of helps explain how demigods work in my lore better, and
Unnamed showcases life on lockdown before the isles opened up again.

I'm super proud of my lore! I've summed it all up here as well as which dragons have (mostly) complete lore so its easier to read. The factions themselves also have a smaller summary on my profile page

My lore has been the same ever since I switched from plague to arcane and so on, however I'm constantly revamping the dragons and changing how I wrote it.
basically a group of misfits who all had terrible things happen to them had their spark to survive reignited by the scarred wasteland, and now travel the world to cultivate lands for the plaguebringer

Aikka Your lore is really lovely! The aesthetics of your dragons are seriously appealing- and the lore you have surrounding Willow is super unique. I loved reading about her lore! Are Chihiro and Castle references to

of the stories but they're all connected to each other in like a they just come from the same clan but live in different areas and flights

Abysea Your description layout is REALLY visually pleasing. It was a delight looking through all of the lore and the little icons you have (plus Hakuku's 2020 outfit is seriously stunning). Similar question to the post above, but is his name a reference to Haku in
