Flight Rising Discussion

for like this past month, i have been seeing the users online over 3000 almost constantly now. when i first joined it was around ~2000 people online or even lower at times. did FR just gain way more players within the two years i have been here or is it just mostly older players? what do you think?

i've noticed that too!! i've been assuming it's because of the map update coming up :D

Any time there's a big update it happens. Usually the site gets downright unusable the first day lol

It's probably effected by the current world status too, and how much extra free time people have because of it,, for instance, I only have school two days a week instead of the normal five !

I hope that with the map update being not as big as the anniversary and the server migrations a while ago, it will not be as bad.

Maybe? Maybe it's because of the map update and the smaller updates we've gotten this month.

We'll have to see after the map update hype dies down if it stays over 3000 consistently.

Oh god, I both hate and love it when Flight Rising gets to the point of so many players that the site breaks. On one hand, it means that FR is nearly unplayable. On the other hand, that means that lots of people are on FR and are probably enjoying it, and FR is popular.

We're all bored during online class and sneaking over the site to stare mindlessly at our pixel dragons. [emoji=spiral scared size=1] As Volatility said, I think it's partly because of the state of the world — everyone's bored and people are discovering the game from social media and stuff. Additionally, new breeds, genes, and a map update soon — everyone's excited! :D
