What things did you learn when you were new to help you on your flight rising journey before you actually knew anything?

When I first joined, I had no idea what to answer when Tomo asked me coli questions, so I always answered "mire" because it seemed to be right mostly lol

I didn’t really understand how to best earn treasure so I floundered for a while before I figured out exaltation, haha. Glimmer and Gloom is great too!

I learned pretty early in my forum wanderings that a thing called a Light Sprite was among the rarest familiars, being incredibly hard to get and thus super sought-after. However, for some inexplicable reason, I assumed it was this guy -- [img]https://www1.flightrising.com/static/cms/familiar/art/16482.png[/img] -- and had a complete and utter meltdown when I got one to drop.

I didn't know full cover skins exist and claimed in one giveaway thread a dragon who wore kamaitachi skin. I thought he is actually white and red xD The owner saw I'm a newbie and warned me that it is the skin and the dragon himself is triple basic but I was too embarrassed to refuse and took him anyway. He's still in my lair and has some lore (and another skin, not full cover this time xD). I was still pretty new during the eye update, but even before that I thought eyes were heritable. I was always buying ice dragons to try and get lucky and stop getting green eyes lol. And then after the update I bought a pair of multigaze and was very upset when the kids had normal green eyes :')

i've been on here long enough that i don't remember what i used to do when i was a newbie. i've noticed that a lot of new folks have a hard time grasping how to correctly post dragon code/images into forum posts though, and i'm sure i was no different

I think the only major thing that I didn't realize from reading the site information was that apparel slots are unlocked for ALL dragons.

When I was a newbie, I remember seeing some users write in different color fonts and doing the same for my own. Looking back, I can't help but wonder why I did that because it just...didn't look good. (No offense to those who use different color fonts, you keep doing you!)
