TOPIC | Fest Fam Theories, Beastclan version
As we all know, the newest round of fest fams has already had a Serthis, a Centaur, and a Maren. If this pattern holds, the other three major beastclans are due to come up. The existence of a twelfth Fiona fam to make up for Capricorn getting skipped has also been teased/confirmed by Undel here.

So here's my theory: The Aries/Wind fam is a Harpy (maybe with a mask that has ram horns, or maybe holding a sheep?), the Gemini/Nature familiar consists of two Talonok (maybe one Raptorik and one Corven, as a nod to Pollux and Castor), and the Capricorn fam from Fiona is a Longneck.

I did think the Wind Fam could be a longneck at first, but, well... it's Wind, AKA that one Flight that's all about flying, to the point of their magic granting otherwise land-bound species like Snappers the ability to fly. Not to mention, even though Longnecks as Aries are plausible, Harpies as Capricorn are significantly less so. And there are vaguely goat-like Longnecks (See: Glitterfreeze Ambassador, Longneck Lampooner). I also feel like Longnecks would probably fit Capricorn more than they would fit Aries.

What do you guys think?

All the fest fams this cycle that have been Beastclans are all the ones who don't have an animal representing the sign (with the exception of Libra). Since Aries and Capricorn both have actual animals behind them, I see zero reason why they wouldn't be animals and follow the design trend.
Gemini on the other hand, I do think will be a humanoid familiar. I think a dryad is more likely though, since it's Nature.

@Recallback Good point - not to mention, Sagittarius is literally a Centaur. I worked with a Beastclan angle because I just can't see them not adding in the other major Beastclans as well, but my assumption could be wrong.

Why would they make it a beastclan forcefully when we already have the ambassadors?

If they do, though, hopefully they pull it off in a way that it's not shoehorned (pun intended).

Two words: Cloud sheep.

Longneck could work (imagine the alpaca FLOOF) but I'm not seeing it happen.

@Wbicepuppy I really hope they do this, oh my gosh. That sounds hecking adorable.

And yeah, not to mention Longneck feels more fitting for capricorn imho.
