Can we like, not hate on the mods for April Fools? They made these April Fools items because they're way more active in the community than any other game developers I've ever seen, and they love us to the point where they went out of their way to create personalized gifts for us. That's incredible, and it's made me love this site so much more. I just can't grasp how you'd take their love and hate on it because you didn't get the item you wanted from a randomized bag. I've seen people trading their gifts around on the forums. Find somebody who likes the item you got and trade for the item you like. Or sell it and get some money to work towards buying what you want. Or gift it to somebody and make their day better. Or grind for some chests and open them until you get one of the other items. There's no reason to hate on the staff for this.

Sure, i was sad i picked the "wrong" bag too, but nothing a few gems cant change which, compared to other sites, are extremly easy to get for a premium currency

I was disappointed with the lanyard too, honestly it would've been better to put it in a bag alongside one of the other gifts, (Too keep the theme of three bags -> three emperor heads, another little merch could've been like a T-shirt, bag, or something else) but whats done is done.
Ultimately, it was a free gift that will drop from all three chest tiers. Its not like its impossible to get/retired like the invisibility cloaks. But I understand why people would be upset with getting a small lanyard in comparison to the bigger, more flashy mascots/plushies.

It's mostly just disappointment from a few select users, which I think is fair. Nobody is being directly mean from what I've observed. It's okay not to like certain things, but the lanyard was just supposed to be a light-hearted and fun apparel piece; same with the plushie and mask/mascot items. If you don't like something it's okay to voice your opinion so long as you're not trying to hurt anyone, is how I personally feel about it. Don't like the lanyard? Sell it or swap it. (i agree with the message of dev support for their work. but topics like this just add more fuel to the fires in these situations. it's really best to just let things die down on their own.)
