I would want a lion fish and angler fish hybrid.
Meaning, from afar you see this beautiful, colorful looing creature, with tons of long fins that glow in the dark all sort of colors. But then when you take a better look at it, SURPRISE! It actually a demon from the deep abys with a jaw that could eat a whale in a matter of seconds.
Bonus, it can spew poison in the water the same way a squid can throw ink at you.
Let it have front arms and long mermaid like tail, but no wings or back legs.
