I've been alterating between a fae and a veilspun avatar for a while and I seem to be taken more seriously/get more attention with the veil avatar on. Could be for many reasons tbh, I just thought it's an interesting observation.

No, I just hate specific avatars for personal reasons, but I don't blame the users for that (for playing the game as is basically).

The only assumption I have is that if someone has a flashy/brown-range Wildclaw, they're most likely to be a G1 lair, or someone who really loves them. If that's true, then all is gucci and stuff, I won't attack them.

Not really. Avatars often suggest the user’s favorite aesthetic and an undressed and ungened Guardian, Mirror, Tundra or Fae often suggest a new player but that’s pretty much it. But I wouldn’t be surprised if there were some psychological tendencies at play, it would be interesting to research them if possible.

Also I will agree with your point about Snapper avatars, they’re usually pretty chill

i wonder what people think about this gaoler-obsessed weirdo traipsing around forums sometimes (me), but that said i really don't judge people based on avatars. a lot of interesting ones do draw me in to further exploration of a lair though

not really? the closest i get to judging someone based on avatar is using it as a metric for their preferred aesthetics

Nah, but I can generally tell when a player is newer based off their avatar. They'll usually have triple basics, no apparel/skin, and one of the four common breeds.

Actually I judge people more on Sigs. Not saying that in a bad way, pfhaha!
