This here is a list of authentic 2000s Neopet names, taken from Neopets that were stuck in the pound last December. Unfortunately, given the character limits and that we can't use numbers or underscores (btw, staff, I'd LOVE to get numbers at least in names for the anniversary - it'd really help those of us with 1337 aesthetics), we can't replicate all of them, but let's add some variety to this distinctly 2010s/20s-aesthetic hellsite. I'm sick of seeing clearly thought out "deep" names. Get some variety. I, for one, plan to use variations on these names for my fodder.

Omg stuck neopets. That brings me back. Sometimes I get worried about the longevity of Flight Rising, and if my dragons will really be worth the time sink... and then I remember that Neopets has been around since 1999 with such a game breaking bug as pound stuck pets and I feel better.

LunaMoonLupe and SunsetDreamer are actually very cute names! I miss being able to search for stuck pets in the pound, it was a lot of fun before they changed pet lookups.

Neopets uses unique names for the pets, yes. I think this is because they do webpages for each Neopet, so it's easier to remember and manage with unique name identifiers as opposed to ID numbers.
