It affect the prices of primal dragons?
Pardon me if this is dumb, but I'm still a newbie and I'm confused..
Why is the price of primal eyes going down because of the new eyes? Are the new eyes more desirable than primal eyes or is there something else I'm not understanding? Also, sorry if this sounds rude. I'm just curious seeing all these people talking about scattersights and gen1 primals losing value and such.

The prices are going down because included in the update is a vial allowing one to apply primal eyes to any dragon of their choice, purchasable via the Treasure Marketplace.

Primal eyes were, and still to some extent, are the hardest to obtain eye type in the game. At the time, eyes could only be obtained by breeding and scattersights. Now that you can simply buy the vials for your desired eye type, the RNG element of it has been removed thus making primals more obtainable and dropping their price.

Primals are really hard to get, and they look really cool. With random eye chances, to hatch a primal with good colors or g1 (or both) is big money. now, you can get a guaranteed primal for 500kt (which isnt a low amount but its more affordable than chance). so primals are gonna go from several thousand pre-update to 500kt+ their colors

They just released an item that will easily allow you to change a dragon's eye type to Primal, and because it's so easy to get Primal eyes now, dragons that already had primal eyes aren't as special anymore.

Primal eyes used to be entirely random, and therefor expensive. Now they can be applied for 500kt, removing the randomness. They still wont be cheap, but they're not virtually priceless on the right dragon. (People spend thousand and thousands of gems on certain primals, like G1s - dragons hatched from eggs found in game)

Since you can't get a gen 1 primal naturally as quick as a non gen one, they were much more expensive. But now it only costs 500k to give primal to a gen 1 you like the look of, so that means that the prices that were once in the thousands are able to go down.
And since scattersights were once the only way to give a non-primal dragon primal eyes, they were expensive, but now they're obsolete since every eye can now be gotten via vials

G1s with primal before got it randomly and because it is rare they were worth more. now that you can just add it that portion of the dragons worth is reduced to how much you can pay for it (500kT) and so a dragon that is otherwise mediocre but has primal is worth nothing now where before they were pretty expensive.
