How would you rank the current Ancient breeds and why? Idk I'm just curious lol
For me it's
1.Gaolers
I just have a thing for fluffy beings with sharp teeth and stuff like horns and antlers so they are perfect for me. You can do so much with them, both male and female poses are great, and they're just... *chef's kiss*
2.Banescales
They're like Wildclaws but cooler if you get what I mean
Skeletal and Wraith are amazing, and honestly you can't go wrong with a Banescale. The only reason they're second is bc I'm not too big on the female pose, but I still like it though nonetheless
3.Veilspun
I like them, they just aren't my style. The hair is kinda weird imo, and I don't like the male pose and the genes are kinda meh
I do like their backstory, how tiny they are and all the jokes about how itty bitty they are lol

1. Veilspun. They have a very fantasy feel, good for my lair, and also in the right colors look very villainy, which is perfect for my lair.
2. Banescales. I love their look. I'd put their body at the absolute top. But I don't like most of their original genes. So I don't have that many banescales. I just wish there were more, better genes for them.
3. Gaolers. The furry look just doesn't do it for me. I don't like Tundras either. I have a few Gaolers, but not many.

2. banes. they're cool, nothing wrong with the design, just really dont belong in my lore without arms >> male pose is kinda ehhh too
3. veils. sorry they just... look so weird... something about the face shape, especially on the hatchling pose. i also just dont like long hair when it's not fur like on gaos. they also dont have ghost or pin/trail so that sucks

Veilspun have top spot for me so far. They’re really pretty. I knew back when they were previewed that I’d really like them, and I’m very happy with what we ended up with.
Banescale are just cool! However I did get burnt out on them because I can’t seem to make the best use of their genes.
Gaolers. Don’t get me wrong, I still wildly prefer them to tundras. I like all ancients so far. Just big ol doggos aren’t quite my jam. And I kinda went ham when they released. Lol I just don’t seem as drawn to them anymore. Kinda feel the same about them as I did about banes, they’re pretty even honestly. The hatchlings do nothing for me, sorry.

That's a tough one! If I were honest...
1 - Veils - pretty hair, fun new genes, and I love their slinky bodies.
2 - Gaols - big dogs, floofy, want to hug
3 - Banes - pointy and scaly, not much to hug.

1. Veilspun - I think they have an ethereal/magical feel that none of the other breeds really have, so they're kind of like, filling an empty niche in a way. I love the branches gene.
2. Gaolers - I love tundras and they're just a spikier version.
3. Banescale - A really good two-legged dragon. Really cool, I just don't see myself gravitating to them as much.
That being said, I just got back into the site having missed the release of all these ancient breeds, so my ranking might change overtime as I interact with the breeds more

I don't know what it is I love so much about them, but I can't help scrying every dragon I get my hands on as one. Their only downside is that they're draining my wallet.
2: Gaolers
They have great exclusive genes and I love the F pose!
