So I know the hit rate ebbs and flows - but it seems as if the past 2 weeks, the hit rate has dropped considerably.
Over the past 3 days I've run a a bit of an experiment.
I've farmed in the mire for a full hour with my mire flyer - and on average she misses 75% of the time - which averages to about every 4-5 elims.
It's getting really annoying.
In the past there have definitely been good days and bad - but they're all bad lately it's really starting to get on my nerves. It's hard to build up any breath when you miss so often.

My kelp beds/forbidden portal pair has been having a similar issue but not as dramatic. Usually I can just breeze through the kelp beds until I hit a boss, but now sometimes I don't even get past the first or second battle due to dodges.
Additionally I almost lost in waterways recently due to dodged elims but that may be unrelated.

Personally, I haven't had any issues. I've been grinding tons of fodder and it goes smoothly each time.

It averaged out to be about 75 percent - it wasn't every 3/4 hit - but pretty close. I did just miss three elims in a row after finally getting some breath.
Considering 1 elim = 6 scratches it's annoying to loose one - let alone multiples.
Fodder farming has been my main income for a while .. but it's not even been bearable the past week/2 weeks.

Tbh I feel the same way! I used to be able to get a fodder pair from 1-7 without resetting (not including boss encounters), but lately, I usually have to reset after my 3rd battle. The misses are killing me!
Also, I feel like I'm being crit so often now? It feels like they crit me every three or so moves (and this is counting ALL monster's moves). Idk, maybe I'm just noticing it more? but boy have I been getting irritated with coli lately xxD

I've been experiencing a lot of dodged attacks recently, too. It's quite aggravating. XD
(Also, Miss and Dodge are two separate mechanics, so if you're actually missing that often without having a debuff, something is very wrong. XD)
They never just dodge once. They always dodge three times in a row so you lose all your breath, it's infuriating.

I have absolutely noticed this as well. It's happening way, way more often than it usually does and I'm someone who grinds for hours at a time multiple times a week. I was grinding blooming groves and had my breath wiped completely out multiple times from things dodging 3-4 times in a row. Also had to restart a lot more often while I was exalting due to running out of breath than I used to have to.
