TOPIC | Plague Flight Question
So I'm planning on taking a short break from FR between the Greenskeeper Gathering and Brightshine Jubilee. (I will be back for Brightshine.) In the mean time I'm storing all of my Dragons in the hibden, but I'm planning on leaving my plague rep as the only dragon in my den and having her say something ominous like "I feed them soup, but they were weak So now they sleep." but I wanted tpo make sure it would fit with Plague lore, as that is something I'm very unfamiliar with. Any suggestions would be very welcomed! My Plague rep.

Well the whole 'soup' thing is more of a forum meme than actual canon lore. If one is talking about the Wyrmwound and its contents, it either kills or horrifically mutates what comes in contact with it.

Canonically, a plague rep would basically be a Star Trek Klingon, lol.

It sounds like a joke, but hear me out, especially if you're not a Trek nerd like I am, haha.

The Plague Flight is all about survival in the harshest conditions. Only the strong persist in their existence. In all the Plague lore I've read produced by the site creators, the general idea of a dragon that didn't survive is that they weren't strong enough. They aren't even mourned. Almost viewed as a shameful event.

So a true-to-lore Plague rep would be a survivalist, or a warrior, etc; someone that can be dropped into the middle of absolutely nowhere with no supplies and get out alive. Someone that has struggled and clawed to overcome adversity, sickness, or a flesh-and-blood enemy, etc.

It seems kind of narrow but the possibilities are endless. Did they contract a virus and are now stronger for it? Did they survive against a true wasteland horror? Did they stare down Luminax and live to tell the tale? Do they serve to test the mettle of up-and-coming Plaguelings? From there, you can see what their role in your clan would be. Are they there to keep the peace? To spy? To teach your clan a thing or two about a thing or two?

Go wild!

Listen, there's room for all kinds of Plague dragons and Plague lore, and you're free to interpret it how you will. You don't need anyone else's stamp of approval. That said, as a Plague player, I like it! [emoji=plague rune size=1] I think part of what's so fun about your idea is the ambiguity: was the "soup" a test? An act of compassion? Of malice? There are so many ways for an outsider to view it, and they're pretty much all fascinating.

[emoji=plague rune size=1] I agree that it's 100% up to you how to interpret plague for your lair. I like the quote you've planned for your rep. :) I have a few chefs and food enthusiasts among my clan that produce questionable consumables at an outpost in the boneyard. The menu is typically dangerous to non-natives, but they are very passionate about feeding weary travelers, with a bit of morbid curiosity as to each patron's tolerability.

Actually, that's absolutely GENIUS! Plague dragons, when someone gets sick, IIRC make them SICKER, and if they recover, they cone out stronger!

Thanks for the feed back! I was trying to imbue the chaotic neutral character of the Plaguebringer into the quote by leaving it open to interpretation.
In my mind she fed them soup that was mainly normal soup, but with a hint of wormwound, just to flavour it. She also did it more for since, to see what would happen, not with malicious intent, or with good intent.
I did want to leave up to other players to be able to interpret it how they see fit. Whether that be she fed them wormwound soup, soup flavoured with a tiny bit of the wormwound, or just normal soup that happened to make them ill. As well as whether she did it for malicious intent or good intent.
Maybe defending a sleeping lair that she is solely responsible for, and winning their trust back once they wake up will be the challenge she faces that will help her become a full fledged plague dragon.
