I think it might be the west coast. It's 10am over here now, and I think school's out (me, I'm just slacking waiting for work emails). 9am's a good summer hour for getting up and doing dragon shenanigans :D

And east coast some people are getting out of school (if we still have classes. I still do. pain) so they can do all their dailies.

I don't see the point in not keeping the stuff tbh. Aren't there still timezones who haven't really gotten the chance to get involved yet? Why the rush? I think a lot of people who are on right now can safely keep their materials and we'll still meet the goal with ease.

The "dont hoard" post worked well on me! (But I only had like 100 of each so I don't think it was just me.)
It may be a mix of people getting up in the morning and doing dailies, and also some people dumping thier previously hoarded items in because of the post.

Why would we hold it over? It's over a day now that we're on phase two, and after that we will have rest where people can still give an item to get a reward, as a last resort. No timezone sleeps for over a day I hope?

Whatever it is I'm just glad it's working. I didn't realize so many people were hoarding and I was honestly worried about how long this event was going to take. Hopefully now that it's been debunked by a mod we can make faster progress on the next milestones.
