Flight Rising Discussion

I feel like a downer saying this, but would anyone else actually be like... really weirded out and not happy if somehow we did actually get humans or confirmation of their existence from this??? I keep seeing theories on it, and while it's a valid jump to make when we discuss "a new possible ancient beastclan" due to the human parts some of them have, I genuinely hope that's not part of this whole lead up [emoji=coatl scared size=1] It just feels like it would mostly break the immersion for me personally if I could... give my dragons a pet human or something? Funny but too creepy for me. I'm not against the introduction of a new beastclan at all, at the end of the day. I know there WERE these unknown beings during the second age, and would not mind knowing what they were or seeing some direct descendant never seen before. Just don't want it to look like my neighbour Chris.

Honestly it looks like something like elves or dwarves or something fantasy-ey humanoid, rather than ya know.. Steve and Bob.

I’ve never thought of it being a Beastclan, I figured it’d be a new breed, since that’s what made sense to me.

But if it is a Beastclan I do hope it isn’t humans, and it’s something else. :)

I could have swore staff confirmed humans didn’t/never existed, just humanoid beings who would become the beast clans?

i don't want humans in my dragon fantasy game. i've said before that i hope this leads to a confirmation that they were not humans. just happening to be bipedal.
with he glowing green crystals my last thought was maybe they are like Skaven. creepy horrific mutant rat race is also legit.

I think I remember staff saying humans don't exist in Sornieth? But even still I really hope it's not humans.

[/quote] They never technically directly confirmed it, though I always thought they had. They just said there's no evidence to suggest if they did or not. I don't think humans exist within the lore? But if it's something from a prior age, I'm def interested in learning more about it.

I really really hope it isn't humans. One of the main things I love about this site + lore is that they don't have to rely on humans to make it fun or entertaining or relatable. I feel like it would kill the mood and make me completely disinterested in lore moving forward.

It definitely makes me feel disappointed just thinking about it, lol
