personally I'm unsure how people are coming up with theories like humans or a new deity, but I did come up with something that should make sense.
New (or old?) water ancient that kidnapped Earthshaker. Veyla seems to be implicating that Earthshaker had been missing, and though Tidelord wasn't specifically mentioned, I feel like this is definitely "new ancient" vibes.
Think about it. Just like banescales, these unknown monsters (maybe dragons) have been forgotten about. Chamber 4 also being suspiciously wiped from Veyla's memory is prettyyy weird.
Your thoughts?

@MaskedAres Personally I think the "Chamber Four? What's that?" didn't mean it was wiped from her memory, I thought it was more along the lines of the "Oh, Fetter, that's a long story and totally unimportant, nothing to see here, keep digging, ho ho ho!" comment. After all, she wouldn't want dragons helping to dig a tunnel to learn that dragons digging tunnels mysteriously vanished, otherwise so would all her help. [emoji=nocturne winking size=2]

What's that?" didn't mean it was wiped from her memory, I thought it was more along the lines of the "Oh, Fetter, that's a long story and totally unimportant, nothing to see here, keep digging, ho ho ho!" comment. Dude, it’s CLEARLY not a mind wipe. She’s obviously meant to be saying more of like “hey you’re not supposed to know about chamber 4 it’s not your business” because she doesn’t want anyone poking around in there

Uh, yeah, that's basically what Mithrel said. It was more of a 'deceive inveigle obfuscate' (hee hee, Teliko) situation, Velya was playing dumb, so to speak.
