While everyone is out there discussing whether we'll be getting a modern or ancient breed...

I actually think the update might be a new coliseum venue or a coliseum update altogether. Sure, a breed is a huge deal but the way this event is operating, introducing a new plane in Sornieth altogether... I think it would be weird if there wasnt something of that new world staying after the event.

I'll be real with you chief, if we get a coli venue that's somehow a big enough deal to warrant being locked behind a site-wide event before we ever get a plague-themed one, I'm gonna be pretty salty.

When they do updates to things like Coli that majorly impact the playerbase, they do betas first (or at least, they did the last time Coli got an update). So... doubt, but boy oh boy I'd be happy if the surprise was a change to the CAPTCHAs, not gonna lie.

I'd been thinking coli venue before the underground river showed up, like if that bottom area would have revealed to a large cavern that could be a venue, but as-is I don't think having our dragons wild combat within these ruins and tunnels would be very wise.

We've gotten Coli venues before though. That's not something "very special." And unless they frontloaded "unreleased" parts of the map when it first updated, I doubt it's that either. It wouldn't make much sense to have two map updates less than six months apart. OTOH, depending on how long they were planning this event it could be, since the map update was delayed several times.

Doesn't the final prize have to be an actual item that is given out, though? Since it's a reward that's only given if you participate in the event I don't think it would make sense for it to be a venue or update.

My first thought was that it was gonna be a special anniversary familiar or something, but maybe I was thinking too small lol. This is my first anniversary so idk what they're normally like.
