I was convinced fest currency didn't drop in training fields either until I just checked (not that I ever grind for those things there, but I still feel like I've been living a lie lol)

Any mob can drop currency or eggs, but the first three venues are bad for any grinding because it's very common to get one, two monsters at a time rather than mostly 3, especially now that you might get a captcha and take even more time to get to the next fight. More of a numbers game than specific to them.
