:D It seems very likely that it will be used for festival currency from now on. We're hoping for some mini festival efforts too.

Oh I sure hope so, I missed out on a ton of fests in the past.
Id be so excited to be able to work around them without missing out on the events and exclusive items simply because I had to work overtime or was sick that week.

I'm not sure how I feel about that - it's actually really easy to get currency the way it is, especially if you grind or brew. I feel like being able to get the currency from these tasks will just saturate the market in one way or another.
But I also don't know what else they would do, other than not have this mechanic at play, so... it probably is what will happen. I know not everyone grinds (I don't really), and not everyone uses Baldwin either.
